BECERA 2013 Call for Papers

BECERA Conference 2013

Call for papers now open

'Researching Children's Lives:Questions of Practice & Methods'

Midlands Arts Centre (mac), Birmingham

20th & 21st February 2013

An invitation to respond to the BECERA conference call for papers.

Dear friends and colleagues,

The BECERA conference is celebrating its 3rd anniversary. The general feeling from the last two conferences was one of community and excitement.

BECERA envisages providing a space for early years practitioners and researchers to come together and share their findings and knowledge. BECERA aims to stimulate, support, create and disseminate rigorous, grounded and conceptual knowledge and its applications to our early childhood services.

Following recent policy changes, it is now more important than ever to be part of the community of knowledge that will shape and influence future policies.

This year's theme is 'Researching Children's Lives: Questions of Practice & Methods' and delegates are invited to submit an individual paper presentation or poster presentation. Papers will be clustered in twos (sometimes three) and allocated a time slot for presentation. All accepted papers will be included in the BECERA online database that is free to access to all registered users.

In addition to this, BECERA is planning some exciting workshops and a conference dinner. Details will be available online soon.

We are really looking forward to welcome you to Birmingham.

Best regards,

Prof Chris Pascal & Prof Tony Bertram

(CREC Directors & founders of BECERA)
